i changed the slog template tonight just to see if i might like something new better. this white background is like a blank piece of paper, soiled by all the slogging muck. the mud hand circle definitely benefits on this template. it looks like it was cut out and pasted onto the slog. other stuff doesn't do as well. the title photo w/ the confused quote looks better in the dark and beneath the pink/purple type-print soahslog.
the best thing though is that this comment will make no sense once i change the template back. i also like how the everyday list items all fall on their own one line. but i miss the bullets. and the colors.
well worth the time and effort to cut and paste. nice to see some schools keeping an active website!! and at least a few teachers using some of the tools available. are you observing ms. fillipino's classes??
science. yes. and, yes. i needed to see if that address actually linked to the site. i've included it in a (do i dare say it!?) hard-copy report. anyway, here's the link for easy access. it is worth seeing what teacher's are doing with technology.

baked as any time
i've been meaning to comment but just haven't managed to push enough things out of the way to make time for a ramble down your way.
ReplyDeletevery different feel with the new layout and coloring (or lack of)
for the most part, i like how the pics pop -- they seem cleaner and crisper than in days gone by buuttt i also miss the colors.
ok, enough gawking at this site, got to get some writing done so i can post to my own piece of cyberspace
