what's up with this word? i hear it every day in the classroom and the school halls. it seems to be an all purpose word/phrase along the lines of "oh my god!" but is usually directed at something or someone the user has deemed stupid or worthy of insult, generally an adjective.
i resisted calling this post 'cufflinks,' but here (are/will be) a few.
also, along with links, i will be adding more thoughts to this post when time allows.

not sure that this particular "cuffs" is what the students are referring to. will check back for more insights and links later. i also hear the word frequently-- but am not sure that i fully understand the true depth of its meaning
